Carolina tabs Markel Walker

Markel Walker

Gigantes de Carolina (BSNF) inked 26-year old American forward Markel Walker (185-90, college: UCLA, agency: Regeneracom Sports). She has played for the last one years at Leonas de Ponce in Puerto Rican BSNF. Walker missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Among other achievements she played in the final of Pac-12 Tournament in 2013. Walker received also Latinbasket.com Puerto Rican BSNF All-Imports Team award in 2014 and 2015.
She has played previously for another team Rybnik.
Walker attended Univ.of Calif.at Los Angeles until 2013 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
